On Pentecost we celebrate the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the disciples of Christ. On this day we sing:
When the Most High came down and confused the tongues,
He divided the nations;
but when He distributed the tongues of fire
He called all to unity.
Therefore, with one voice, we glorify the all Holy Spirit!
Here, the Old Testament division of people is changed to the New Testament unity of all people in the One Church of Christ.
On the eve—Saturday—a commemoration of all the departed is observed. This observance was established because the Descent of the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost completed the salvation of humanity, and the departed, too, share in this salvation. Therefore, while praying for the quickening of all the living by the Holy Spirit, Christians also ask that, for the departed, the grace of the Holy Spirit—the Comforter—may serve as a source of blessedness in eternal life.
Our parish is named in honor of the Holy Trinity, making Pentecost our parish holiday. Since the parish founding in 1952, Holy Trinity Church has served the Russian and Orthodox communities in Milwaukee and Wisconsin. We invite you to celebrate Holy Pentecost, to give thanks to God for giving us this faith community, and to pray for His continued love and protection.

- Pentecostal Memorial Saturday – May 30. 10 am Divine Liturgy, 11 am Panikhida.
- Vigil on Saturday, 4:00 pm
- Liturgy on Sunday, 10:00 am (confession at 9:30)
- Noon – Procession and Parish luncheon
