Our parish will have two special services during the month of November. On November 7 we celebrate St. Demetrius Memorial Saturday. Following Liturgy, we will serve a memorial service (panikhida) for all who have reposed.
On November 21, we commemorate the Feast of Saint Michael and All Angels. This is a feast in honor of the revered heavenly powers—the angels and archangels, led by the Archangel Michael—whom the Holy Church praises on this day: Supreme commanders of the Heavenly Hosts, we unworthy ones implore you that by your supplications ye will encircle us with the shelter of the wings of your immaterial glory, and guard us who fall down before you and fervently cry: Deliver us from dangers since ye are the Marshalls of the Hosts on high.
We thank all who participated in last month’s clean-up day. Parishioners will notice a beautiful new wood covering that was placed on the altar table in addition to the completed building cleaning and maintenance.
We also thank those who continue to financially support necessary repairs and renovations such as the cupola tower and boiler replacement. We appreciate your donations to the building repair and renovation fund which can be made online or at church. For more information, click on the link below. Thank you!
We look forward to seeing you every Sunday and for these special services:
Saturday, November 7, St. Demetrius Saturday, Liturgy at 10 am followed by panikhida at 11 am
Saturday, November 21, St. Michael and All Angels, Liturgy at 10 am
